Fills, smooths, bonds, joints, repairs, regulates humidity, roughs out, evens out.

Professional quality, within everyone's reach.

01

What it is

A powder to be mixed on site, predominantly mineral, of natural origin. You buy the material; the water comes from your own tap, and you mix just the right amount.

Predominantly mineral composition, of natural origin.

  • Selected fine natural plasters
  • Mineral fillers of natural origin
  • Cellulose-based water-retaining agent
  • Set retarder

Without synthetic resins.

“Without synthetic resins” refers to resins and to nothing else: the composition also contains a cellulose-based water-retaining agent and a set retarder, two functional additives. This is the manufacturer's own wording, with no quantifier added.

The list opposite is the one in the current technical data sheet, June 2026 edition. The list of components in the regulatory sense appears in the safety data sheet, which we send on request.

Suitable substrates

All absorbent materials:

  • S-01Plaster and plaster blocks
  • S-02Paper-faced plasterboard
  • S-03Concrete
  • S-04Brick
  • S-05Stone
  • S-06Cement
  • S-07Wood and wood-based panels
  • S-08Thermal and acoustic insulation: wood fibre, cork, bonded polystyrene

Substrate preparation

  • P-01Substrates clean, sound, free of dust and of any trace of mould-release oil.
  • P-02Dampen highly absorbent substrates.
  • P-03Open cracks to be filled to a minimum of 5 mm.
  • P-04Cut edges must be clean and free of dust.

ref. R-01

This list is the one in the current technical data sheet, and it is closed. A substrate that does not appear on it — aerated concrete, rock wool, old paintwork — is not covered by the manufacturer's documentation: ask us to confirm before you start.

04

Application

The four steps of the instructions printed on the packaging, reproduced without addition.

  1. Mixing water

Mixing water: 15 to 16 L per 25 kg bag. Use a mixing tub, a trough or any clean container. The volumes for the two other packs are given in the table of technical characteristics.

  2. Preparing the mix

Always add the powder to the water, never the other way round: sprinkle Bricolisse evenly into the measured water, without stirring. Then mix, by hand or mechanically, until a smooth, lump-free paste is obtained, using a slow-speed mixer. Avoid breathing in dust when mixing.

  3. Application

Apply with a filling knife, a smoothing trowel or a float depending on the use. Dampen highly absorbent substrates. Allow 2 hours' drying between coats. Open cracks to be filled to a minimum of 5 mm. Do not use a paste that has begun to set.

  4. Cleaning tools

With cold water, immediately after use.

Precautions for use

  • Application and drying temperature between +5 °C and +30 °C (substrate temperature).
  • Do not use a paste that has begun to set.
  • High temperatures shorten the working time, low temperatures extend it.
  • For interior use only.
  • Avoid breathing in dust when mixing — safety data sheet on request.

ref. R-02

Two instructions are not published here, because the documentation gives no single value for them: the spacing between adhesive dabs, and the waiting time before sanding and painting. In both cases, ask us rather than guess. Figure currently being confirmed by the manufacturer.

05

Safety

The product's classification status under the chemicals regulations is the one set out in the manufacturer's safety data sheet, which we send on request. We do not restate it here: no English-language source document exists.

A regulatory status is not a property of the product in any case: it does not remove the need for any of the precautions below.

Avoid breathing in dust when mixing — safety data sheet on request.

Protective equipment

P2 filter where exposure occurs, nitrile rubber gloves, safety goggles.

06

Emissions

Bricolisse is a mineral interior filler, without synthetic resins. That is all we state on this subject today.

ref. R-03

The emission data exist only in the manufacturer's own documents, and the full test report is not yet on file. We publish no figure and no classification here: ask us for those documents.

Two points remain to be confirmed by the manufacturer before publication: the name of the container for the 5 kg pack, which the manufacturer's own documents give in two different ways, and the shelf life, for which the documentation gives three different starting points.
